Youth Financial League – Summer 2026 Goal Giveaway 

Official Rules and Regulations 

NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR DONATION OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

1. Eligibility

The Summer 2026 Goal Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is open only to legal residents of the United States who are between the ages of 18 and 24 at the time of entry. Employees, board members, officers, and volunteers of the Youth Financial League, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate. 

2. Sponsor

The Giveaway is sponsored solely by the Youth Financial League non-profit organization based in Richmond, Virginia. 

3. Timing and Entry Period

The Giveaway begins on July 20, 2026, at 12:00 AM EDT and ends on July 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM EDT (the “Entry Period”). All submissions must be received during the Entry Period to be eligible for the drawing. 

4. How to Enter

To qualify for the Giveaway, entrants must submit: 

1. A clear plan outlining one of their goals for the summer of 2026. 

1. Two specific action steps they intend to take to achieve that goal. 

Submissions must be entered through one of the following official channels: 

• Facebook: Send your submission via direct message or post it as a comment on the official giveaway announcement post on the Youth Financial League Facebook Page. 

• Email: Send your complete submission to info@youthfinancialleague.org. 

Limit one (1) entry per person. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. 

5. Winner Selection and Odds

Three (3) winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The random drawing will take place on August 3, 2026, using a digital random number generator. The odds of winning depend entirely on the total number of eligible entries received. 

6. Prize Details

Each of the three verified winners will receive one (1) $100 Visa Virtual gift card. The prize is non-transferable, and no substitution or cash equivalent is permitted. Visa is not a sponsor of or affiliated with this promotion. 

7. Winner Notification and Claiming Prizes

Winners will be notified by August 15, 2026, via the Facebook account email address used to submit their entry. Winners must respond to the notification within seventy-two (72) hours to claim their prize. If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within the designated timeframe, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be randomly selected. 

The Youth Financial League will never ask winners for sensitive financial information (like bank details or credit card numbers) to claim a prize.

8. Taxes

All federal, state, and local taxes, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use, are the sole responsibility of the individual winners. 

9. Social Media Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Meta Platforms, Inc. By participating, entrants agree to completely release Facebook from any and all liability related to this Giveaway. Any questions or complaints must be directed to the Sponsor, not Facebook. 

10. General Conditions

The Youth Financial League reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the drawing. 

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Youth Financial League, its directors, and volunteers from any and all liability, loss, or damage incurred in connection with the entry, selection process, or use of the prize. 

11. Privacy

Any personal data collected during this Giveaway will be used solely for the administration of the contest and winner notification, in accordance with the Sponsor’s internal privacy practices. 

12. Governing Law

This Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
